On Saturday, January 21st, Dance Beacon/Ballet Arts Studio will be closed for Preparation for Ballet and Lower School I classes ONLY. Company class and Company rehearsal will occur as scheduled. Thank you.
Below, Andonia Karnavezos, Dance Beacon student and member of the Dutchess Dance Company, has her picture taken with keynote speaker Anderson Cooper at a New York City fundraising event for Puppies Behind Bars, an organization where prison inmates train Labrador Retrievers to be service dogs.


Dance Beacon/Ballet Arts Studio student Sarah Goodhill with actors George Lee Andrews and Jennifer Hope Wills, who, last year, were Christine Daae´ and Monsieur Andre´ in the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera.
Dance Beacon/Ballet Arts Studio warmly congratulates our graduate Chelsea Otis, who auditioned for, and was accepted into the Binghamton University Dance Team. She is one of only eighteen dancers who made the team, which performs at men's and women's basketball games and other events. Congratulations, Miss Chelsea !!!!
ALL STUDENTS: Students who have achieved any award or distinctive recognition should let me know, so that I can post congratulations at the Studio and on the website. The award or recognition does not necessarily have to be dance-related; it can be, for example, academic, musical, theatrical. . . . Let me know, so I can let the whole Ballet Arts community know what our students are doing.
